Smart Match

You can make use of the Smart Match feature to link similar records or unlink different records between BillQuick Online and QuickBooks Online. For example, you can view employee data already matched between the two programs on the Matched tab. If needed, you can select the matched records and then un-match them. Similarly, on the Unmatched tab, you see unmatched data. If needed, you can select the unmatched records and then match them.

If the payroll settings are turned on in QuickBooks Online, you are not able to send employees from BillQuick Online. In this case, you can use the Smart Match option to link employee data between BillQuick Online and QuickBooks Online. Please see the Integration Guide for details.

This screen consists of two tabs:

Matched Tab

You can view the matched or linked BillQuick Online and QuickBooks Online data in the gird. BillQuick Online data is displayed on the left and QuickBooks Online data on the right. You have the option of selecting one or multiple matched records and then unlinking them by clicking the UnLink button.

Un-Matched Tab

You can view the unmatched or unlinked BillQuick Online and QuickBooks Online data in the gird. BillQuick Online data is displayed on the left and QuickBooks Online data on the right. You have the option of selecting the desired records and then linking them by clicking the Link button.

Data:

Select the data module from the drop-down list. Depending upon your selection, you can view activity, employee, project, and other records for both programs in the grids.

Smart Match Button Panel

UnLink:

This button is activated on the Matched tab only. Select the records in the gird and then click this button to unlink the matched records between BillQuick Online and QuickBooks Online.

Link:

This button is activated on the Un-Matched tab only. Select the records in the gird and then click this button to link the unmatched records between BillQuick Online and QuickBooks Online.

Help:

Opens BillQuick Online Help in the Smart Match section.

Close:

Closes the screen.
