Long term liabilities are the portions of debts with due dates greater than a year (or financial year of the company). These are obligations that are not expected to be paid within the current operating cycle and could include items like bank loans and notes payable. The long term liability register displays all the transactions related to the debt account created in BillQuick Online.

The following are descriptions of fields on the Long Term Liability register screen:

Transaction Date:

The date when the transaction took place.

Ref:

Displays the reference number of the transaction.

Type:

This displays the type of transaction. It is pre-filled or gets filled when you select the account where the transaction is posted.

Payee:

The person who receives a payment involved in the transaction. It can be a vendor, client, employee or any of your contacts.

Account:

The account to which the transaction is posted. It can be a bank, equity, income, expense or any other account. This account is credited when you increase the liability balance and debited when you decrease the liability balance.

Increase:

Displays the amount by which to increase the balance in the liability account. When you enter any amount here, it credits the liability account and debits the selected account.

Clear Transactions:

Check this option to clear the transaction from the liability account register. Transactions marked as 'cleared' in your account register are not considered connected to the transactions on your account statement unless you have reconciled the two in the Reconcile Accounts screen. We recommend reconciling your account using that screen.

Decrease:

Displays the amount by which to decrease the balance in the liability account. When you enter any amount here, it debits the liability account and credits the selected account.

Balance:

The balance amount of the liability account. This field shows the balance as of the transaction date, even when the ledger is sorted by other fields.

Edit Transaction :

This allows you to edit the transaction by opening it in the source screen.

Delete Transactions :

This allows you to delete the line item transaction.

Save Record :

This allows you to save the line item transaction.
